Cannot provide ongoing rent/utility payments for those households living in subsidized housing as defined as public housing (SHA, KCHA or RHA buildings) or those receiving a section 8 Housing Choice Voucher. Can only guarantee monthly payments 90 days at a time. At some point, it is expected that HEN recipients will need to begin covering rent with their own resources.

Drop-in center provides free shower and restroom facilities, laundry service, nurse care and hygiene packets; serves homeless women and men, ages 18 and older, living on the streets or in shelters.
Offers homeless individuals a place to use the restroom, take a hot shower, and do a load of laundry. Additionally provides the following services:
- Nurse care to those living on the streets or in shelters
- Toiletries and supplies for use on site
- Hygiene packets for clients to take with them
Clients may drop off up to 15 pounds of laundry once per week. Laundry may include any kinds of clothing, including jackets. Each load must have more than two items, and must NOT include the following items:

Healthcare for the Homeless nurse is on site for two hours, four days per week, to see clients on a drop-in basis. Clients do not need to be using other hygiene services in order to see nurse.
