Counseling Services Licensed therapists offer strength-based, trauma-informed approaches to help clients gain skills to manage life’s challenges. The City University Counseling Center is a telehealth-only facility staffed by supervised graduate students from the Master of Arts in Counseling program. Offering individual, couples, and group counseling, it supports counselors-in-training as they build practical skills. Sessions are recorded for training purposes. While the center does not provide psychiatric care, assessments, case management, or crisis services, it can coordinate with external providers as needed.

Graduate students in the UW clinical psychology doctoral training program working under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals provide psychotherapy and other psychological services to UW students and residents of the Seattle metropolitan area. Graduate student therapists work with children, teens and adults who are experiencing psychological distress. Clients must be a good match for a therapist-in-training. CALM Clinic is a specialty clinic that provides training and clinical services in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, obsessive compulsive, and traumatic stressor-related disorders.
