Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing - VASH offered at Tacoma Housing Authority and Department of Veterans Affairs
Offers vouchers that provide rental assistance to homeless veterans in combination with case management and clinical services. Applicants are not income qualified, and VASH has no program time limit. Applicants must meet Tacoma Housing Authority standards and guidelines for criminal history. Applications are referred to THA through the Department of Veterans Affairs. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the local VA Department to determine eligibility criteria.

Application process
VASH applications and referrals are provided through the VA. After an application is submitted to THA, applicants have a briefing with the Lease and Occupancy Specialist and before they are issued their voucher.
