Provides fire protection and emergency medical aid for the Adams County District 5. Also provides community education about fire safety. The medical aid unit is staffed by emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Fire district, station tours, fire prevention education for the elementary schools, burn permits for Adams County, fire extinguisher training for organizations, control burns for residents if approved, annual training for volunteer firefighters.
