Eligibility

Single women experiencing homelessness. Ages 18+ (no minors, no family shelter). Cannot serve clients who are fleeing domestic violence (location not secure; accepts clients if at least six months since DV situation was active). Clients must be able to complete ADLs. Cannot serve clients who: -Have severe mental illness or current substance abuse problems -Have violent criminal convictions -Are 6+ months pregnant -Does not accept pets or ESAs

Call for screening interview. Phone screening required prior to being added to wait list. No drop-in applications.

Provides dormitory-style shelter for nine homeless women, with stays up to three months. Clients may remain at the shelter during the day. Curfew is 9:30 PM, nightly (flexibility offered for stability-related reasons). Volunteers provide dinners. Maintains small clothing bank on site, with referrals for interview and work clothing. Supplies shower/hygiene items and free Laundry facilities. Provides items for making breakfasts and sack lunches, and refrigerator space for clients' individual food. Staff provide mandatory housing-focused case management services, and monthly nurse visits. Shelter program does not include any religious components.
