Offers medication assisted treatment and support services for those with an opioid use disorder. Provides courtesy doses to patients enrolled in other treatment programs.
Patients begin treatment with methadone or buprenorphine and come to the clinic daily to receive medication from a dispensing nurse.
This treatment helps patients who respond well to methadone and provides a structured, intensive, daily treatment.
Over time, some patients may graduate to less structured services, with medications dispensed in weekly to (at most) monthly take-home quantities.
