Eligibility

Island County residents ages 60 or older (or the spouse of a person ages 60 or older) who is unable to shop for and/or prepare a full meal and at risk for malnutrition.

Call or visit website. Monthly menus are available on the website.

Fees

Meals are provided on a “by-donation” basis. Donations are needed to keep the program running. No one is turned away for inability to pay. Liquid Nutritional Supplements suggested donation is $30/case.

Delivers nutritious, well-balanced meals to older adults who would otherwise be at risk for malnutrition. Sugar-free and gluten-free meals are available. Meals meet 1/3 of daily nutritional requirements for older adults. Client wellness checks provide information and resources and a sense of security for family and loved ones. Liquid Nutritional Supplements are available by the case with a doctor’s prescription.
