Must live in own home or apt. Volunteers must be 55 and up, meet income eligibility criteria, pass background checks, complete training, and be willing to serve at least 8 hours per week.

Volunteer-senior-based program. Volunteers 55 and over visit or call other seniors to offer companionship, transportation, respite support for caregivers, thru activity support such as walking partner, lunch buddy, playing cards, accompanying on outings, and organization support. Clients requesting a volunteer are 60 and older or are an adult of any age with a disability. Clients must live in their own homes or apartments in Snohomish County or King County. Wait time depends on volunteer availability. The wait time to be matched with a volunteer can be 2 to 18 months.
