There are no eligibility requirements for visitors, but they do have to follow all of the rules.

The Pierce County Detention and Corrections Center consists of 2 facilities, the New Jail and the Main Jail. Also contracts with local mental health providers to provide mental health services to those in custody. Friends or family who are concerned about the mental health of someone in custody can call with any questions or concerns.

Provides special operations which include: SWAT, Search and Rescue, Marine Services (boats and divers), HDS (bomb team), K9, Bicycle Patrol, and the Air Unit.
