Hours
M-F, 8am-4:30pm. Emergency services: 24 hours daily.
Application process
Call 911 and ask for the fire department.   The operator will immediately transfer the call to Seattle Fire.   Once dispatchers answer, be prepared to provide these details:
  • Address of the emergency
  • Information regarding type of emergency
For inspections, call the Fire Marshal's Office.

Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technicians and Firefighter/Paramedics respond to rescue/medical emergencies in Seattle.   All stations provide blood pressure readings during business hours.   Accepts newborn babies dropped off by the parent within 72 hours of birth.   The parent shall not be prosecuted and will remain anonymous, but will be asked for a medical history.
