Eligibility

Eligibility for assistance is limited to the following groups: refugees, asylees, Cuban and Haitian entrants, victims of trafficking, and certain Amerasians, provided they meet ALL of the requirements listed below:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have earned income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level
  • Assets at the time of enrollment must not exceed $10,000, excluding the value of a primary residence and one vehicle
  • Must be currently employed
