Provides a no-cost, easy enrollment, job search center where anyone from the community can get help with job seeking and building computer skills. Core Services Include: · Job Search & Placement Assistance: One-on-one help identifying local job openings, navigating online applications, and connecting with hiring managers. · Computer Classes: In-person classes are offered on a weekly basis on topics for first time computer users, to classes for developing skills for working in office environments, also available in 1 on 1 appointments. Laptops are provided. · Skill Building: Workshops and advice provided ranging from learning how to operate a computer to recognizing soft skills for professional workplaces, and on to connections for workplace certifications. · Resume & Cover Letter Development: Personalized coaching to build or update professional resumes, tailor applications to specific roles, and highlight transferable skills. · Interview Preparation: Mock interviews, strategy sessions, and tips for answering challenging application questions. · Public Computer Lab Access: Free access to computers, high-speed internet, printers, and scanners for job-seeking activities, and skills training. All Services are completely free, thanks to donations and purchases at Goodwill retail stores.
