People who are blind or visually impaired, as well as people living with and/or caring for people who are blind or visually impaired or those interested in working with the blind or visually impaired.
Hours vary. Annual picnic yearly in June. National ACB convention yearly in July.

Description

Offers support groups for people who are blind or visually impaired, as well as people living with and/or caring for people who are blind or visually impaired. Groups occur during monthly meetings, which includes the group's business meeting and entertainment. Transportation can be provided to most meetings and events, if arranged in advance. Provides a monthly newsletter that informs members of upcoming activities and items of interest to the blind community.

Works to increase independence, security, equality of opportunity, and to improve quality of life for people who are blind or visually impaired. Provides non-medical information and referral, college scholarships, and some legal assistance. Publishes magazine, "The ACB Braille Forum," in braille, large print, on digital cartridge.
