Provides advocacy-based counseling for victims of domestic violence.   Advocates meet with clients in a safe location to discuss safety planning, access resources, provide moral support and coordinate support groups. Safety is the primary concern for victims, their children, and the staff. Advocates do not meet clients in their homes and do not meet with couples.

Suburban King County YWCA in South King County
Provides advocacy-based counseling and support groups for domestic violence victims as well as counseling for children who have witnessed domestic violence. Provides job readiness training and case management for those who are homeless or are at risk of losing their homes. Career development center at Greenbridge provides job search assistance to all South King County residents with a specialized program for young adults and classes teaching computer basics needed for office jobs.
