Eligibility

Individuals, ages 18-59, who have been court-committed. State law requires that certain individuals must be admitted to the hospital because of an involuntary civil commitment. Most individuals must be covered by WA Apple Health (Medicaid).

Hours

24 hours daily. Visit ing hours are generally daily, 9am-9pm.

Call for cost. The Office of Financial Recovery (OFR) will bill Medicare, WA Apple Health (Medicaid) and private insurance.

Provides inpatient hospitalization for adults who are severely mentally ill and are voluntarily admitted or committed for care by a civil court proceeding.   A team will develop a treatment plan for each individual, addressing individual and family needs, the social environment, medical care, and vocational and legal issues.   Families are encouraged to participate with the patient's consent.   Medical responsibility is maintained through continuous 24-hour physician and registered nurse coverage.   Visitors may call ahead to schedule a time to meet with the patient's treatment team and/or to participate in the patient's treatment conference. This would first have to be authorized by the patient.   Major treatment therapies include:  -  Medication -  Group and individual therapy  -  Family therapy  -  Drug and alcohol education  -  Behavioral psychotherapy
