Health-Related Housing offered by Ronald McDonald House's Charities of Western Washington and Alaska

Operates temporary housing for families with a sick child.   Facilities include:   -  Bedrooms, with two beds each -  Communal laundry room -  Living room -  Kitchen -  Play area for children -  A quiet room for adults   Towels and linens are provided.

Hours

Daily, 9am-9pm. After-hours resident manager is available.

Application process

Call. Clients need verification of hospital, diagnosis and name of social worker and physician.

Eligibility

Families whose children are being treated at Seattle Children's.   Must live outside a 45-mile radius of the facility and have an expected stay of four nights or more.

Fee

Payments through Medicaid or private insurance are accepted.
