Eligibility

Youth, grades K-12. Entering kindergartners must be age 5 on or before August 31. Serves the following cities and unincorporated areas in northeast King County:

  • Lake Marcel-Stillwater
  • Ames Lake
  • Cottage Lake
  • Union Hill-Novelty Hill

Basic education is provided at three elementary schools, one middle school and one senior high school. Student-teacher ratio is 18:1.   Offers remedial reading program which consists of individually-designed courses for students who are two or more years behind in their reading skills.   Also has a gifted education program, including honors and advanced placement English in high school and an integrated program in middle and elementary school.
