Providing organization
Skagit Friendship House
Private non-profit hospitality house for the homeless with separate facilities for men and women. First come, first served. Both facilities are sober living and shelter people 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. This is a 90 day program, and not a drop-in shelter. This organization also has a Cafe that serves a daily hot dinner to the public, as well as a sack lunch off site. These meals are served every day of the year. They also offer services for homeless individuals such as free clothing, showers, hygiene products, and a place to do laundry. They also have three transitional houses, and manage the low-barrier cabins, Skagit First Step Center in Burlington. SFSC also supports an emergency cold weather shelter from November through March.
