JoyRx Mentorship Program offered at Children's Cancer Association

Pairs seriously ill children and teens in treatment with trained, volunteer adult mentors. Mentors play games, listen to music, share hobbies, and provide companionship. A JoyRx mentor can also give parents a break to grab a cup of coffee, talk with doctors, or spend time with their other children.

M-Th, 8am-5pm F, 8am-1:30pm Mentors meet with families based on both parties schedules.

Eligibility

Families with children in treatment for cancer or other serious illnesses ages 0-18 at Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel or Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
