Volunteer Services offered at Catholic Community Services of Western Washington
Helps individuals remain in their homes by providing assistance with transportation, shopping, monitoring, housekeeping, minor home repair, laundry, yard care and other tasks. Provides assistance to those who cannot afford to pay for services, do not qualify for assistance elsewhere, or do not have family and friends available to help them. Coordinates with community agencies to provide professional services. Volunteer Services (VS) depend on volunteers to provide the services.

Application process
Clients: Call for information and phone intake; up to two weeks notice is requested for transportation services. Volunteers: Call for information; must register and attend orientation before volunteering.
Eligibility
Age 60 and older and adults age 18 and older with disabilities, who identify as low-income. Individuals must not have friends, family, or others able to assist and must not qualify for other programs that could provide assistance. Volunteers: A Washington State Patrol background check must be completed. Volunteers ages 16 years and over may volunteer without supervision.
