Provides support and advocacy to all crime victims over the age of 18. Provides Legal Advocacy and general assistance to crime victims. Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault victims are served through the Domestic Violence Coordinated Entry (Blue Skies). Legal Advocacy/Court Support includes:
  • Protection Orders (Civil)
  • Police Reports (Criminal)
  • Landlord-Tenant matters
  • Immigration cases
  • Referrals to legal resources
General Assistance includes:
  • Crisis intervention
  • Safety planning
  • Discussing options and next steps
  • Emotional Support
  • Benefit Enrollment (health insurance, food stamps, social security, etc.)
  • Assistance with Crime Victims’ Compensation application
  • Referral to other agencies/resources
  • Calling on a weekly basis to check in.
