Public school system for Auburn and vicinity provides basic education, vocational courses, an alternative school, and programs for students who are non-English speaking, gifted or in need of special education.
Basic Education is provided at 16 elementary schools (K-5), four middle schools (grades 6-8), three high schools (grades 9-12) and one alternative high school.
Student learning objectives are pre-set in all grade levels.
English as a Second Language (ESL), also called English Language Learners (ELL), classes are available and a program to assist with core subjects can be arranged.
Vocational Education is offered at each high school, with courses in business and office occupations, vocational industrial arts, trade and industry, marketing, and vocational agriculture.
