Eligibility

Veterans must have served 180 days of continuous active duty (90 days for Reserve or Guard Units); Discharged under honorable conditions; Washington State Resident for 1 year (12 consecutive months); Snohomish County resident; Income must not exceed 150% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Provides emergency financial assistance for honorably discharged veterans, veterans' widows, and qualified dependents, arranges for mental health and alcohol/drug assessment and treatment at a VA Medical Center. Provides outreach to veterans. Authorized items payable by Snohomish County Vouchers are food and sundries, utilities, medical, transportation (bus), vehicle gas. Other items payable at the discretion of service officer.
