- Addressing property maintenance issues and public nuisances
- Responding to concerns regarding illegal land use and home occupations
- Enforcing sign code regulations
- Promoting public health, safety, and neighborhood livability through education and voluntary compliance
- Taking enforcement action when necessary to achieve compliance
- Providing information and referrals to appropriate city departments for issues outside the scope of code enforcement, including building code, fire safety, parking, and animal control matters.
