Certifies teachers, office personnel, principals and school counselors as Parent Designated Adult (PDA).
When a child is diagnosed with diabetes, and requires glucose monitoring, or insulin injections, during school hours, parents can designate a certified volunteer as a PDA to administer the testing and injections to the child.
This way children can attend school functions, field trips and other school related activities.
