Eligibility

Most handlers and their pets are eligible if they pass the temperament/aptitude evaluation.

Fees

Pet Partners therapy animal teams register and pay a registration fee of $95 for two years (includes insurance while on Pet Partners visits).   Handlers must complete training and regular evaluations.

Provides handler training, evaluation of people/pet teams, and registration for individuals who want to provide animal-assisted activities/therapy in their community.   Training is provided through an online course or workshop conducted by a licensed instructor. Registered pet partner teams visit nursing homes, hospitals, schools, and other facilities with their pets.
