Behavioral Health Services addressed the increasing mental health and substance use issues faced by young people, especially those experiencing homelessness, behavioral health crises, or involvement in foster care. Through counseling and support services, youth in YSIC programs, along with people of all ages, gained greater stability and better well-being. Outpatient Mental Health Services Counseling is for everyone. Whether you’re six or 106+, our licensed therapists use strength-based, trauma-informed approaches to help you understand yourself and develop skills to navigate life’s challenges. We offer essential services to people of all ages in King County, including Y members and non-members. If you’ve felt isolated, depressed, or anxious during the pandemic, now is the time to reach out. At the Y, our therapists are here to support your whole self with issues such as: • Stress, anxiety, and depression • Family and relationship issues • Grief, loss, and life transitions • Substance use and addiction • Self-harm • Gender identity • Body image • Conflict resolution • Court-related mental health or substance use requirements • Foster and adoption support
