Career and College Centers offered by Seattle Public Schools No. 1

Integrates career planning, job search training and job referral services through college and career centers at several alternative schools and small schools.   Students receive advice on post-high school options, including:   -  Career and technical education -  Preparing cover letters and resumes -  Completing job applications -  College applications/scholarships   -  Selecting colleges    A job-listing service is available for employers who would like to hire students. Employers can contact the Career & College Center Specialist at each high school.

Eligibility

Available to all Seattle Public Schools high school students and parents/guardians.  Some services are only for students ages 16 and older.

Administers the Seattle Public Schools District Office and is the central contact office for all Seattle Public Schools. Maintains information on programs and locations. Educational services are offered through elementary, middle, and high schools. Gifted, alternative, special education and Individual Education Plan (IEP) services are offered to students.
