Eligibility

Washington, Idaho, and Oregon residents of all ages with disabilities of all types including older adults with age-related functional limitations.   Family members and employers also are eligible.

Description

Provides low-interest loans to people with disabilities for purchases of assistive technology including: - Durable medical equipment (wheelchairs, hearing aids, patient lifts, etc.) - Adaptive technology - Home and vehicle access modifications and equipment (adapted vehicles, smart home technology, computers, widening of doorways, etc. ) - Dentures Also helps callers locate other funding sources. Assistive technology loan terms are up to five years with a 5% interest rate. Home modification loan terms are up to 10 years with a 5% interest rate. Adapted vehicle loan terms are up to 10 years with an interest rate that can vary. Loan amounts are up to $25,000 for assistive technology and up to $60,000 for home modification and adapted vehicle loans. There are no fees to apply or for early payoff.

Provides low-interest loans for people with disabilities to purchase assistive technology, including hearing aids, scooters, and computer equipment. Provides free one-on-one financial coaching for people with disabilities to address financial concerns, understand their benefits, and set and work toward financial goals.
