Eligibility

Income-eligible homeowners within the city limits of Kent.   Must have owned and occupied house, mobile home or condo for at least one year before applying.   Household annual gross income must be at or below 80% Area Median Income.  Priority given to senior, low-income and disabled residents.   Mobile homes must be 1976 HUD tagged or newer

Offers grants for home repair assistance to low- and moderate-income homeowners in the city of Kent.   To qualify, repairs must help with at least one of the following: -  Maintain the health and safety of occupants -  Preserve the dwelling   Free repairs may include:   -  Plumbing, electrical and carpentry -  Disabled access -  Furnace service -  Storm doors, roof and window repairs -  Smoke detectors repaired or installed -  Other smaller work items
