Eligibility

Those who are legally blind and residents of Washington state.   May require verification by a physician.

Hours

9am to 12pm from Monday through Friday

Application process

Call for initial screening. Caller's information will be given to the crisis committee. Someone from the committee will call back, interview the applicant over the phone and make an eligibility determination.   Agency does not give cash; the recipient's bill is paid by the agency to the vendor.

Provides once-in-a-lifetime financial assistance for food, medicine or utilities. Can also help pay veterinarian bills for service dogs. Agency does not give cash; the recipient's bill is paid to the vendor.   Does not help with rent or move-in assistance.
