Food and Emergency Financial Support offered at FISH of Cowlitz County
Works with 18 churches to distribute food each weekday and assists financially with several emergency needs including medical, dental, and prescription bills, utility bills, propane and firewood needed for heating and cooking, work clothing, immunizations, and glasses (no contact lenses assistance available). All financial assistance is provided to the vendor on behalf of the client.
Hours
Food boxes: M-F, 9am-noon. All other assistance: M-F, 1-4pm.
Application process
Call for information. FISH does not have a public office for people to walk into; all requests and information are handled by volunteers and over the phone only.
Eligibility
Unrestricted; all financial assistance is determined on a case by case basis.
