Connector Routes - Beyond the Borders offered at Pierce County Human Services
Provides two deviated fixed routes in the Beyond the Borders Service area. Deviations up to 1 mile off the fixed route may be available, depending on the rider's situation. Dispatch will make the determination if a deviation from the route is possible. Routes run from Spanaway to South Hill and a Sumner to Bonney Lake Connector Monday through Friday. Connections to Sound Transit and Pierce Transit bus service at each end of the routes. Those who are disabled are also encouraged to apply for Pierce Transit's SHUTTLE for the Disabled.

Application process
Call 211 to be screened. Please allow up to a 21 day turnaround for review and approval. Beyond the Borders will contact you to let you know if you were approved or denied. If you are approved, then call the Beyond the Borders number for the scheduling directly and they will already have all of your information on file. Trip reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
