To receive free services, clients must earn 80% area median income or below and reside on Bainbridge Island. Households that are over income or not Bainbridge residents may access these services for a fee.

Payment Options
Provides health and safety home modifications for older adults, people with disabilities, and those coming home to rehab, so that they may remain in their homes safely and independently. Modifications include grab bar installation, accessibility improvements, and weatherization repairs. Program staff provide total project management, making renovations as easy as possible for the client. HRB also offers social service referrals as needed. These services are provided free of charge for households earning at or below 80% area median income and living on Bainbridge Island. They are available for a fee to people who are over income and live elsewhere in Kitsap County.
Housing Resources Bainbridge
An affordable housing provider on Bainbridge Island, serving all income-eligible home-seekers regardless of residency. HRB owns and operates 55 units of rental housing and stewards 61 owner-occupied homes as part of its portfolio. (There are 54 new homes under construction or in predevelopment.) HRB also offers an independent living program that performs health and safety home modifications, free of charge, to help older adults and people with disabilities continue to live at home.
