Independent Living Services offered by Washington State Department of Services for the Blind in Vancouver
Empowers people to live independently in their homes and communities. Services assist participants in gaining the confidence, skills, and alternative techniques necessary to maintain or regain their independence to restart customary life activities. Goal is to gain the ability to choose lifestyle and level of independence based on information and knowledge, not perceived limitations.

Email or call. Staff will be in contact. Staff will also travel to provide services to individuals who cannot access one of the office locations.

Eligibility
People who are 24 years old or older and who have vision loss or blindness impacting their ability to live independently in their homes. Serves those who are not employed, seeking employment, in school, or planning to go to school.
