Those who have special dietary needs such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, heart disease, diabetes and other special diets and need food assistance.

Application process

Call or drop-in for more information. Clients can visit once per month. There is an application to fill out, it takes about 5 minutes. Those needing liquid nutrition will need a prescription from their doctor indicating a medical need.

Operates a special dietary needs food bank. Serving our low income community with diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, HIV/AIDS, cancer, etc., in need of healthier food options due to their health issues that not all mainstream food banks can meet. Purchases and/or receive donations of fresh fruits and vegetables, natural turkey, chicken, and fish. Also buys Ensure, Glucerna and other nutritional drinks for the clients that have a medical need for liquid nutrition.
