Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) offered at Puget Sound Educational Service District

Transportation is available for most Head Start and ECEAP locations.
Eligibility
Private and public schools, educators and families. Programs serve families with low incomes and children with disabilities. Family income must be at or below 36 percent of the state medium income. Children must be 3 years old by August 31 of the current school year for preschool services. Serves school districts in King and Pierce counties.
Hours
M-F, 8am-5pm.

Administers state-funded preschool programs which provide early childhood education experiences such as:

  • Nutritious meals and snacks
  • Health and developmental screenings and follow-up

Each site's services reflect the ethnicity and culture of the community. Children with disabilities receive all services above, plus coordination of services and individualized education programs.
