Youth 18 and younger may use the Yakima Transit's fixed route, Dial-A-Ride, or the Yakima-Ellensburg Commuter for free when they present a school ID card, a valid government-issued ID, birth certificate, or a free Yakima Transit Youth Rider Card, which validates that they are age 18 or under. Those age 18 and under who wish to use the Dial -A-Ride service must be pre-qualified.
Eligibility
For reduced bus passes: must be 62 years of age or older; or have a disability with a form completed by your physician stating what is your disability or if you are substantially emotionally disturbed.
