Gig Harbor Runner offered by Pierce Transit
Provides on-demand point to point public transportation services in the recreations zones along Highway 16 in the Gig Harbor Community, generally between the Purdy Park and Ride and the Kimball Park and Ride. Uses vans that can accommodate wheelchairs and bicycles so the service is easy for anyone to use. Vehicles pick up and drop off anywhere a car can go, including parking lots and pull-outs along. Designated pick-up and drop off areas are also available. Service animals are welcome, but pets cannot be accommodated. This is a pilot project and service may be limited especially at peak times and when events are happening in the zone. Does not operate on some federal holidays.
