Provide strength-based conversation through the Coordinated Entry Process to address homelessness to adults and families who are literally homeless. Coordinated Entry in Pierce County offers different housing programs like Diversion, Priority Pool, and the Veterans Master List. If enrolled in a housing program people may be referred for income-based rent or move-in assistance. A referral depends on housing availability and the household's needs. To enroll in Coordinated Entry in Pierce County, an individual must first call Access Pierce or visit one of the drop-in locations (like Associated Ministries) for information and screening. If eligible, the individual must then talk with a housing specialist to discuss housing options before enrollment. The conversation with the housing specialist will usually last about an hour. Enrollment in a housing program through Coordinated Entry offers the same program benefits whether through a housing specialist at Associated Ministries, Catholic Community Services, Access Pierce, Tacoma Ministerial Alliance or another participating agency.
