Maternity Housing & Support offered at Road to Hope

Eligibility

Pregnant women age 18 or older who are in crisis (homeless, fleeing domestic violence, etc.). Women can be pregnant and have 1-2 additional children under school age depending on program capacity. No couples or pets of any kind. Participation in faith-based worship service of choosing is required.

Application process

Call for appointment or complete form on website. A full interview with program staff is required before program entry.

Fees

None for the main maternity home. Transitional and graduate housing have a minimal monthly program fee.

Provides care in a home environment for pregnant women and their children. Clients may stay at any point through their pregnancy and stay up to approximately one year after the birth of their baby. Additional support available with gaining OB/GYN care, high school or GED education completion, gaining employment, budgeting, individual counseling, advocacy and case management, developing parenting skills, and support working towards family reunification.

Helps meet the needs of unsupported pregnant young women. Facility provides stable, secure, and nurturing residential care in a home environment. Residents may stay through their pregnancy and approximately one year after the birth of their baby. Moms may be eligible for graduate housing after graduating the main program.
