Submit a completed volunteer interest form. Attend an Orientation & Screening evening or an Information Session and other screening elements as determined necessary for service and volunteer role. Call or email for general and additional information.

Description
Recruits, screens, trains and manages the nearly 400 volunteers that serve in volunteer roles on the 24-Hour Crisis Line, WA Warm Line, and WA Teen Link. Volunteers for all services receive extensive, specialized training in various mental health, crisis, and suicide intervention topics. Volunteers also learn to convey empathy and non-judgment through communication and active listening skills. Volunteer training programs are available in various formats, including online and hybrid online/onsite opportunities.
