Offers a free, confidential crisis text line to anyone whom is comfortable texting. Anyone from any location, in any crisis, can access the text line. There are no age minimums or limits. Anyone can text on behalf of others who are unable to advocate for themselves. A trained crisis counselor will receive the text and respond quickly. The system reviews for severity. Imminent risk texters are taken first. Volunteer Crisis Counselors are background checked, trained and supervised by licensed Mental Health providers. Crisis Text Line is anonymous and confidential. Crisis counselors only know what texters share with them, and that information stays confidential.
