Eligibility

Residents of King County who are living with HIV/AIDS or other chronic diseases, illnesses or injuries that have caused them to be homebound. Those living with chronic illness must live in the city of Seattle. Those who are HIV+ must be at 500% of the Federal Poverty Level or less.

Description

Provides a range of free food and nutrition services for low-income people living with HIV/AIDS or other chronic illnesses or disabilities that have caused them to be homebound. The program delivers prepared frozen meals and/or groceries to homebound clients. Special diets are accommodated. Meals are packaged in a microwave safe container and delivered frozen to the client for easy re-heating. Grocery bags include fresh produce, proteins and shelf-stable items.
