Summer Camp offered at Camp Kesem
Eligibility
Ages 6-18 who have lost a parent to cancer, have a parent undergoing cancer treatment, or whose parent is a cancer survivor. Eligible children may return to Camp Kesem more than once. Children with disabilities and special needs are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Application process
Call or visit website to register. Applications open in January and are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Website has schedule of upcoming camp sessions and related events, links to the chapter's Facebook page, and contains chapter contact information.

Week-long summer camp for children affected by a parent's cancer that provides a peer-based support network. Activities include games, arts and crafts, sports, water activities, and adventures in nature. Camp is staffed by screened and trained college students. Camp nurse is on-site at all times to care for any injury or illness and to issue prescribed medications as needed. The chapter of Camp Kesem that runs camps in Oregon is based at the University of Oregon.
