An adult correctional facility, located in the city of Wenatchee, that serves a population of over 94,000 people and a geographic area of over 5000 square miles. It is the only "Regional" jail facility in the State. In July, 2005, the regional jail opened a 66 bed minimum custody direct supervision dormitory to house inmate work crews and work release inmates, thus freeing up 66 beds in the main facility.
