Provides educational, social, and recreational activities, classes, and services, especially for those ages 50 and up. Also provides meaningful volunteer opportunities and fun day trips to area events and some overnight trips. The mission of Shipley Center is to enrich the lives of adults through social, health and fitness activities, trips, educational classes, low-income housing opportunities, and referrals to community resources. Eligibility
Any adult can become a member. You must be 50 or older to serve on the Board of Directors
Fee
Membership is $50 per year for individuals, $85 per year for couples or any two people at same address. No age requirement to join. If you make less than $1600 per month, ask about how to get a free 1 year membership! Membership provides lower activity fees, the monthly newsletter, and discounts on trips. Membership is not required to participate, but non-members pay a bit higher fees for all activities.

Donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Leo's Cafe, open to the public, M-F 9am-2pm is located inside Shipley Center and offers healthy affordable meals in a friendly atmosphere.
