From I-5: From Interstate 5 take the I-705 N/WA-7 S exit, Exit 133, toward City Center/Pacific Avenue. Take the exit toward A Street exit on the Left toward City Center. Take the S 15th Street ramp toward Pacific Avenue. Turn slight Left onto S 15th Street. Turn Right on Pacific Avenue. Turn Left on S 11th Street. Turn Right on Market Street. OAH is in the building on the Right. Park in the parking garage on the Left. Sky bridge on 3rd level will take you directly to OAH.

Independent state agency that decides at a hearing whether an applicant is eligible for unemployment benefits after having been denied by the Employment Security Department.   A hearing is a fact-finding process which gives all interested parties an opportunity to present their case.   Most unemployment insurance hearings occur because there has been a job separation.   The purpose of the hearing is usually to decide whether unemployment benefits should be paid.
