Employment Services offered at Columbia Ability Alliance

Assists disabled individuals in obtaining and maintaining employment. A team of professionals work to match the skills and interests of job seekers with specific requirements. Local businesses offer participants the chance to perform job duties in a real work environment and assist with the skill evaluation process. Also partners with local school districts to provide an option for transition students to participate in work experiences at a variety of local businesses throughout the school year. Students gain valuable work skills to take forward, past graduation and into the working world.   Job seekers obtain and maintain employment through: -  Job Development and Placement, Retention and Intensive Training -  Job Search and Work Skills Training -  Career Counseling -  Job Coaching   Once a job seeker has obtained employment, on-the-job coaching, and support services, retention assistance may be available to help the employee learn their specific job duties and have a positive outcome for both the employee and employer.
