Senior Programs offered by YMCA of Greater Seattle at West Seattle/Fauntleroy YMCA

Provides programs and services designed to help older adults gain strength, energy and flexibility through physical activity, as well as enjoy a wide variety of clubs and social events.  Clubs and Social Events are available.  Group Exercise includes: -  Stretching -  Yoga -  Silver Sneakers Walking Club -  Aerobics Body Shop -  Core Strength -  Enhance Fitness -  Moderate Movement -  Stability Ball and Tai Chi  Swimming and Water Fitness Programs include: -  Arthritis Foundation YMCA Aquatic Program -  Shallow Water Aerobics -  Water Workout  Program details vary by branch location.

Eleven regional YMCA branches provide after-school programming for youth, child care programs, older adult programs, and programs for families and youth. Two branches serve a community supper once a week. University Family YMCA operates a street youth drop-in center which also offers hygiene items and services. Auburn location offers smoking cessation workshops.
